The Vermeer BC2100XL is built to handle demanding, high-volume timber processing, with the capability to chip material up to 21 inches (53.3 cm) in diameter. Its SmartCrush technology, combined with two advanced horizontal feed rollers, delivers an impressive theoretical pulling force of up to 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg), helping move large material smoothly and efficiently through the machine.

For even greater efficiency, an optional winch is available to assist in loading heavy logs weighing up to 4,000 lb (1,814 kg) directly onto the feed table. Productivity is further enhanced by the SmartFeed system, which continuously monitors engine speed and responds to potential jams by automatically stopping or reversing the feed rollers when required.

Operator safety is also a priority, with a long 60.5-inch (153.7 cm) feed table providing added working distance, along with Vermeer’s exclusive bottom feed stop bar designed for quick and reliable feed shut-off.
