Vermeer RTX250 Walk Behind Trencher

The newest entrant in the Vermeer pedestrian trencher lineup offers superior productivity through a convenient to maintain machine that gets the job done right.

The RTX250 features a 25 hp (18.6 kW) electronic fuel-injected (EFI) engine, digging depth capacity of 48” (121.9 cm), maximum digging width of 8” (20.3 cm) and a slender profile which allows the unit to move through narrow yard gates.

  • Engine offers excellent startability in a wide variety of temperatures and altitudes, and eliminates carburettor-related issues such as flooding, reducing the need for maintenance and lowering overall operating costs. This fuel efficiency unit provides the performance and power recovery needed when digging in deep and/or difficult conditions.
  • The narrow chassis allows the machine to access tight areas as well as traditional 36” (91.4 cm) gate entrances.
  • Provides protection for the head shaft when trenching in difficult conditions helping to lower the overall cost of operation.
  • The high-mount track design reduces sprocket maintenance (high drive) while providing greater tractive effort and performance with track dimensions of just 7″ (17.8 cm) width and 31.2″ (79.3 cm) length.
