Vermeer productivity tools

Vermeer productivity tools make it easier to access information about your machine or project more quickly. Productivity tools are delivered through digital technology. Some productivity tools are specifically designed to work on machines, while others are Jobsite or project-based. Whether you choose a single Vermeer productivity tool or combine them, you can make the process of bidding, planning, and billing for jobs more efficient.

Work smarter. Not harder.

Access machine or job information more quickly with Vermeer productivity tools.

Fleet: Know your machines

Vermeer Fleet provides customers with fleet-equipped machines’ GPS locations to efficiently locate and route equipment and crews to the job site. It also identifies planned maintenance schedules and captures completed services, while displaying idle times and fuel consumed. Vermeer Fleet also helps managers identify operating expense reduction opportunities and prompts them to take action on a machine with maintenance alert notifications and fault diagnostic codes.

Customers can add the Vermeer Fleet +Edge options for even more valuable information on how their machines and operators are working to help drive productivity. For horizontal directional drills with Fleet, customers can upgrade to Fleet +Edge HDD which can capture near real-time machine data, such as mudflow, thrust, and pullback force and rotational torque on a rod-by-rod basis.

Specialty excavation machine owners can upgrade to Fleet +Edge Specialty Excavation which conveys actionable machine information like productivity tracking and performance measurements for operations and fleet managers.

Projects: Manage your job sites

Vermeer Projects allows operations managers to collect, organize, and share important job documentation through the cloud and detailed customized reports. With the +Mapping technology upgrade, customers can visually capture the Jobsite over a Google Maps image, including intended bore path Whiteline, pothole locations, locate positions, marked utilities, and bore path as-built. With +BorePlan technology upgrade, they can do all that plus add bore line mapping, rod-by-rod bore planning, and import as-drilled log data.

BoreAssist: Plan on your machine

Vermeer BoreAssist allows licensed users to create and/or edit a bore plan on the DCI® DigiTrak® Aurora® display. If subscribed to Vermeer Projects, they can also load a pre-made bore plan. When coupled with Log-While-Drilling (LWD™), customers can compare their data to their plan. The drill operator can then follow the rod-by-rod plan to drill the planned bore. Using the LWD Live™ and BoreAssist applications combined helps the user drill according to plan, reducing potential corrections throughout the bore.
